Experiences vs. Products

I recently came across this article, which really rings true for marketers. Seth Godin is one who always seems to be ahead of the curve from a consumer demand standpoint, and as suggested in this article, he notes that marketing is becoming less about products/services and more about experiences and connections. It’s also noted that technology will continue to drive the change – and that companies are going to need to be more comfortable with advancing their IT.
